Offering Prenatal Care, Parenting Classes, and other programs to the Sacramento Community.
The Center for Community Health and Well-Being, home of the Birthing Project Clinic, has become a vital asset for low-income women who otherwise would not have access to comprehensive pre and post-natal care. It is our goal to ensure babies are born as healthy as possible to parents who have received prenatal care, parenting and nutrition education, family planning, transportation and substance abuse relapse prevention support and referrals as needed. On average the clinic enrolls 90 new patients per month with over 90% representing pregnant women.
